I realize this is my opportunity to provide a professional reference explaining why I am so capable of changing your life with proper nutrition. I won't be so bold, what I will tell you is this - you hold the keys to your health and change. That is right, you alone hold the keys. You may need some education, some direction to set you on the right course, and that is why I am here. However, my role is to motivate you, to teach you, to coach you, to hold you accountable and hold your hand through some difficult changes. I see my role as a companion and friend to lead you down a path, but only you can choose to walk that path. Please allow me to join you.
My nutrition philosophy is to help you provide your body the foods it needs to heal while removing foods that are harming your body. Once you have recovered your health we can re-introduce foods and see what your body will tolerate and what it will not.
As much as I love food AND eating AND cooking, I love people. My job is to help you. If by the end of working together you don't recognize yourself, I have not done my job. I work at my office in Santa Maria, Buellton Medical Center, and virtually, so you will find easy access to me. I even have an app made just for you!
You probably want to know a little more about me, so here we go: on a personal note, I live in as close to paradise as it comes (the central coast of California). I am married to the love of my life and the most patient man I've ever known. We have a sweet baby girl, who we had at home in our bed - the most amazing experience of my life. We have a puppy named Potus (President of the United States) who keeps us laughing and snuggling every day. I like to cook, I love wine and cocktails, I love pasta and bread and Cuban Food. I have always loved my body now at nearly 150 pounds and when I weighed almost 200 pounds. I was drawn to Nutrition when at a young age I was diagnosed with PCOS and had associated weight gain that I could not explain. It took me YEARS to slowly pull off the weight, and through it I learned a lot about food, and when I needed to decide what to study in school - Nutrition was an easy choice for me.
I love to cook and write recipes for my blog, probably not often enough. I hardly measure anything, most especially the spices. I hope you'll choose me to walk with you down the path to improved health. My hope and PRAYER is that you will find health, confidence, and more energy while working with me.
